Neoclassical set of four Biedermeier shovel chairs in walnut from Austria around 1830.

• Walnut book-matched veneered and solid walnut.
• Spirals painted with ink on the backboard
• One chair in darker, more vibrant walnut, 3 pieces of lighter, plain grained wood
• Newly upholstered and covered in beige fabric.
• Restored and hand polished with shellac.
