Description

Fine, early Biedermeier Commode or Chest of three drawers in cherry wood from Franconia around 1820.

• Cherry veneered on softwood.
• Ebonized half-columns with corinthian brass capitals and bases.
• Three drawers with replaced brass fittings and original locks.
• Solid cherrywood square legs, straight at the front and slightly curved at the back 
• Upper, flat drawer with interior compartments.
• Restored condition, hand-polished shellac.
