Exceptional, large, modular Space Age seating arrangement ‚Orbis‘ by Luigi Colani for COR in original green fabric and black shells, Germany, circa 1970.
- Design by Luigi Colani (1928 – 2019)
- Manufactured by COR, West Germany, 1969 – 1970s.
- The set consists of 5 seating elements, 1 ottoman, and 2 sofa tables.
- High-quality original green woven fabric in excellent condition – rarely to be found in this color.
- Original leather straps secure the cushions to the black lacquered wooden frames.
- The seating elements are movable on coasters and can be connected at the bottom with more leather straps.
- Seat cushions can be removed, and the fabric can be taken off.
- Includes one rare to be found ottoman, as well as 2 COR side or sofa tables made of black-lacquered bent plywood with white tops.
- Very good condition, well-maintained, and completely original, with slight signs of age and wear.
- Provenance: Private collection in South Germany, first-hand ownership, acquired in 1970.
