Description

Biedermeier extending dining room table in cherry wood with brass bands from Southwest Germany around 1820.

  • Solid cherrywood top, strongly oval shaped. 
  • Original, rounded brass bands around the apron.
  • Six conical square tapered legs in solid cherry with original brass wheels.
  • Original pull-out mechanism in solid oak.
  • 3 added inlay shelves / leaves of approx. 58 cm each in cherry veneer and added brass bands.
  • Restored condition, hand-polished with shellac.

  • L 94.5 cm + 3 x ca. 58 cm = 269 cm (3 tops) / 210.5 cm (2 tops) / 152.5 (1 top)
  • Extendable in 4 different lengths. When fully extended (3 extension leaves), the table offers seating for up to 10 people.
