Round Biedermeier extendable table in cherry wood from Southwest Germany around 1830

  • Cherry veneered and solid. Ebonized notches around the edge.
  • Original extension mechanism in solid oak.
  • Tapered square legs with inlaid ebony band.
  • Three 50 cm (19.7 in) inlay plates / leaves in cherry veneer (added during restoration)
  • When fully extended, the table offers seating for approx. 12 people
  • Restored and hand-polished with shellac.
