Small Art Deco Cabinet / Wardrobe, Amboyna Roos Veneer, leather and brass, France circa 1930
- Beautiful, rare, small Art Deco Cabinet or Wardrobe from France circa 1930.
- Lovely yellow-brown Amboyna Roots Veneer (loupe d’amboine), high-gloss clear lacquer finish.
- Original brass handles on white leather half-moon decors, one on each door.
- On the top in the middle, seeming like a drawer, there is a brass key socket. The lock closes into the left door and locks both doors, which are together by tongue and groove.
- Inside it is oak veneered on softwood with one english drawer in cherry solid wood at the top and one pull-out plate in oak veneered in the middle.
- The body and bottom plinth can be separated, with the body being put on top of the plinth, it hold by its own weight.
- The plinth is black lacquered wood, on the 4 columns, there are brass solid decorative decors.
- Fully restored condition.
