Description

Biedermeier Expandable dining table in cherry veneer with ebony inlays from France around 1900.

  • Solid cherry wood round top, ebonized on the edge.
  • Inlaid ebony has on the top of the legs and inlaid trim running along the apron.
  • 4 extension leaves / inlay plates of 50 cm each in solid cherry wood and with frame.
  • Square tapered square legs, extended at the bottom and with ebonized plates. In the middle there are two foldable extra legs for better stabilization if 2+ inlay plates are used. 
  • Old pull-out mechanism in solid wood.
  • Extendable in 5 different lengths. When fully extended (4 plates), the table offers seating for up to 12 people.
  • Restored condition, hand-polished with shellac.
