Description

Beautiful, petite historicism box from made in Germany, circa 1880.

• Oak wood, birch veneer with maple and ebony inlays on the edges.
• Large oval inlay with beautiful shell motif and pyrography on the top of the lid.
• Ionized egg-and-dart molding protruding at the bottom edge.
• Interior in oak with visible remnants of interior fittings.
• Brass hinges and lock (replaced and functioning).
• Restored condition with shellac hand polish.
