Description

Set of 10 Art Deco Dining Room Chairs in solid beech wood staining in a dark red mahogany or cacassar color tone and high-gloss lacquered, from France  around 1930.

  • Fully reupholstered and covered in cream-white Alcantara leather with single welt.
  • Very good seating comfort due to large seat cushion and upholstered, slightly laid back and curved backrest.
  • The dining chairs were originally part of a dining room set in Macassar ebony made by ‚Georges & Gaston Guerin’ in Paris in the 1930s. The sideboard of the dining room is signed and also available (AD-SB-403) as well as a smaller display cabinet (AD-SB-404).
  • Six chairs are original off the period around 1930 and 4 chairs have been reproduced sometime later. After the restoration, there is from the outside no differentiation of the original and the art deco style ones.
  • Fully restored, refinished and reupholstered condition.
