Description

Cube-shaped, elaborately crafted Biedermeier casket 

• Walnut veneered
• Inlay work with branch slices and mahogany veneer
• Several band inlays in maple and ebony
• Top center with inlaid butterfly in maple with fire burnt decor
• Interior covered with red velvet fabric with cushion
• Key crest in mother of pearl diamond shape
• 4 attached feet standing outward
• Restored and hand polished with shellac
• Brass hinges and working old lock 

Dimensions: H 16,5 cm W/D 17 cm at the feet and 15,5 cm at the body
